- (1759-1841)Galician Hasidic leader. He was born in Przemysl and served as a rabbi at Sieniawa and Ujhely. He was among the first to spread Hasidism in the northern and central districts of Hungary, and became known as a wonder-working tzaddik. He wrote a homiletic work (Yismah moshe) and responsa.
